Not ready to buy a piano yet — or only need one for a while? Ranjan Fernando Piano Centre rents acoustic upright pianos in Colombo and across Sri Lanka from LKR 50,000 per month. Every rental piano comes from our own inspected stock and is tuned before it leaves the showroom.
Renting suits families trying out lessons before committing to a purchase, students preparing for a graded exam, people on a temporary stay in Sri Lanka, and venues or schools that need an instrument for a season or an event. If you later decide to buy, just ask — we will talk you through the pianos for sale in the showroom.
What Is Included
A Real Acoustic Piano, Without Buying One
Inspected Upright Pianos
Rental instruments are acoustic upright pianos from our own stock, checked in our workshop for action, tuning stability and cabinet condition.
Tuned Before Delivery
Every rental piano is tuned before it goes out. Because a piano needs time to settle after a move, ask us about a follow-up tuning once it is in place.
Delivery & Setup
Our own team delivers, positions and sets up the piano, and collects it at the end of the rental. We confirm the transport cost for your location when you enquire.
Clear Monthly Price
Rental starts from LKR 50,000 per month. The exact rate, minimum term and deposit depend on the instrument and are confirmed in writing before delivery.

We suggest suitable pianos from the showroom. You are welcome to visit Welisara and play them first.

Agree Terms
We confirm the monthly rate, rental period, deposit and delivery cost in writing before anything is moved.

Delivery & Setup
Our team delivers the piano, places it away from direct sun and damp walls, and makes sure it is ready to play.
