Upright Pianos
Every piano currently in our showroom is a pre-owned upright — a space-efficient, vertically-strung instrument suited to homes, studios, and anyone taking their first steps into serious practice.
Who This Suits
- Families choosing a first instrument for a child's lessons, where reliability and consistent touch matter more than concert-hall projection.
- Home musicians and students who need a serious, full-range acoustic instrument without the floor space a grand piano demands.
- Anyone furnishing a living room, studio, or teaching space where a vertical footprint against a wall is the practical choice.
What to Consider
- Action and touch: an upright's vertically-mounted hammers respond differently from a grand's horizontal action — worth playing before you decide.
- Height and placement: taller studio uprights project more tone but need clearance from walls and direct sunlight for tuning stability.
- Pre-owned condition: since our current stock is all pre-owned, ask about cabinet condition, action wear, and when the piano was last serviced.
